The seller selects Booth 1 and item number 100. Solentx combines them into the compact code B1100.
A vendor, dealer, seller, or consignor can place a simple lookup code such as B1100 on a physical price tag. At checkout, staff can type the lookup code or scan a printed barcode. Either option retrieves the product, price, seller, location, and inventory record. A barcode scanner is optional, not required.
The lookup code is the connection between the item on the sales floor and its complete record in Solentx.

Write the lookup code on the seller's existing paper or cardstock price tag. A printer is optional.
Staff type the code into the POS lookup box and press Enter, just as they would scan a barcode.
The correct item, price, seller, location, and quantity are added to the sale automatically.
Vendors, dealers, sellers, or consignors add the product, choose its location and item number, then copy the generated lookup code onto the physical tag.
Enter B1100 and press Enter, or scan a barcode. Both retrieve the corresponding product record.
Sales, returns, commissions, receipts, and payout statements stay connected without paper-tag guesswork.
Use lookup codes for unique or low-quantity items, printed barcodes for faster scanning, and connected sales, returns, commission calculations, and payout statements for seller-owned inventory.
